Yesm XXmisunderstood, it used to make patterns by draping the fabric onto the dress form instead of doing it flat on paper. It gives you more 3D view at what you are making

This was a really great video ^_^ and I think I’d like to try this in the future. I may sound ignorant, but, what is this done for? Making patterns? I’m sorry I’m only 15 and my mom used to sew me dresses as a child but she never really taught me anything and says that she isn’t interested in it anymore, but I am.
