Hi, I’m trying to dye my jeans green. Like, dark green/gravedigger green. I don’t want to use that rit dye stuff. I want to do it how you do it. Any suggestions? Please Reply!

Can I dye my sweatshirt in the washer by adding food coloring dye’s? Maybe by letting it set in the dye for about 12-18 hours before I put into the spin cycle would work…Any comments would be most appreciated…thanks!
