I’ve noticed that in the US (at least in Tx) people wear clothes more for casual wear like everywhere. I mean like sweatpants, like more loose clothing then here in Europe. But they definitely wear more tennis shoes/running shoes like Nikes and stuff. That’s pretty rare here, I mean for going to school or going out. Of course we wear tennis shoes to play tennis xD But usually it’s more like leather shoes and for the girls it’s definitely more boots here then in the US.

LOL “species”. Yeah – “creepy” sounding.
I’ve noticed the clothes do not seem as good a quality in Germany unless I go to a very expensive store. We do in the US make the sizes smaller. I were a large in Germany and here I wear a small (mostly).

It’s amazing. As I was always interested in the US I knew some of the things said, but there are new things to learn in every single video. That’s what makes them so great. You are doing a great job!
If anyone should consider buying a lot of clothes on his or her next trip to the US: Keep in mind that everything worth over 175€ has to be declared at customs. Check that out before you get into trouble. Your ‘good buy’ might come out very expensive in the end.

Pfüa-ti! LOL! Hey Alex, try to relax to pronounce it correctly: Pfiadi. But you have over 3000 subscribers, so use Pfiad(s)eich or Pfiadenk (both plural).
I think Lower Saxony vs. Bavaria could be very interesting too …
I suggest to make a podcast about different dialects in germany and the US. Perhaps there are some similarities? That might sound weird but f.e. i heard some americans using a lot of “sh” instead of “s” like we do it in bavarian swabia.
Pfiadseich!

I’m not an expert on fashion neither, although I’m female XD
As for hats, there’s an etiquette for it in Germany, too. The military has a nice saying for that: “Ist das Köpfchen überdacht, wird die Mütze abgemacht”

I prefer clothing in Europe even no is more expensive, I hate to find clothes here because they come with mad stamps on them, i like more simple things than look like a clown.
