One thing that you need to make sure is that you buy the “HE” detergent if using an “HE” machine. “HE” (High-Efficiency) washers must use this or they could get messed up. So if you ever see the “HE” symbol in a detergent box or bottle, now you know why it is there. Okay, all we need now is a shooting star display the words “The more you know…” LOL!

I find that detergents are all the same so I get the cheapest. Walmart has fabulous deals on XTRA brand. 170oz (110 loads), $6

I generally buy whatever comes in those huge bottles, usually Tide, so that I can go a long time without having to buy more. LOL

I’ll stand for ages picking one too – but easy way to reduce the choice ? get a Sensitive type (will prob be called Sensitive or Hypoallengenic or something) prob takes choice from dozens to a handfull (actually drops my choice to 2 or 3 in most of my supermarkets in Sydney!)

you should have looked at what you had got for free and then bought that hehe. My parents are the ones who buy the detergent so I kind of understand I use what they do. I will not pay attention as to waht they buy so when it comes time I know what to get. Great video.

Yes Scott, for all your “loads” good point, the questions are how many, how big, multiples, and frequency and then you can really decide is it for all your “loads”….choices, damn, so many, what’s a man to do….

lol….. I like Tide the best. It cleans really well, great for stains, good w/ colors, and smells really good. Somtimes when i have to watch my budget a little harder, i use Purex but Tide is way better. Reading the labels as to how much you should use helps from destroying clothes as well, using too much detergent for the load than needed can sometimes destroy the colors of the clothes. Hope this helps! …..love watching your videos, they make me laugh everytime…keepem coming…
