I really hate to be a hater, but I couldn’t resist. This woman annoys me to a point of explosive diarrhea. I agree with all the walking billboard stuff. This woman doesn’t know brands. “Buck Fush” is not a brand, neither is the superman symbol. She annoyed so many innocent pedestrians. I am sorry if I offended anyone. Not a great person to do this vid. Have a nice day. ☻

My mom tells me about that with her coworkers. They’re all rich doctors, but they don’t buy brands that shout out their name to the world like “GAP” and “GUCCI”. They all wear lavish – but reserved – clothes and accessories. They have small tags and nearly invisible stamps. They look plain, but the purse costs nearly $800 dollars.

I don’t think it necessarily makes you shallow (in this video these people r definitely shallow, judging by their comments) but it shows that you are insecure about yourself, I mean…wouldn’t you trust your personality to be your best feature? If so, then you don’t need brand to look cooler.

people are so superficial these days. They need a brand name to be cool. =(

The funny thing is, major labels are actually really often really conservative. I was wearing Kenneth Cole boots, Calvin Klein jeans, and Armani T-shirt and a Kenneth Cole button up and you can’t see a label on any of them.
The jeans its a small tag on the butt, the boots its on the zipper and underneath, the T-shirt its on the bottom at the side and just the logo and on the button up it’s inside on the collar.

My shirt says KISS MY ASS. I don’t think there is a store called that though.

Hahaha, it is so funny!!! That people try to dress to express who they are and end up wearing the same logos
))
So I’m a bit scared to ask this: is it really who they are? Ooops, that is scary…

I think for me, it was both. I wanted to fit in because I had just moved to a new state and started highschool. And at the same time, the label itself looked cool and I bought into it. Then the following mall visits, the brand just stuck. I’d see it, recognize it, and liked it because it looked nice, and I knew people would recognize me for it. But does it make a person shallow because of that? I mean I wasnt paying 50-60 dollars for one shirt or one pair of jeans, but does that matter?

well video games and comics aren’t advertising,,but walking around with a label on your shirt is,,you’re basically a walking billboard. You shouldn’t stop buying what attracts your eye, but question why does something catch your eye? Is it the label? Is it the idea of fitting in?

people like to belong, to be part of something more than just themselves, simply put they want to identify with a group/image.
Seriously though, wearing a tshirt with a logo on it – isnt half a bad as the adverts/product placement in TV/movies and other media. a logo or name brand is the lesser of the evils really.
Good video though, even tho it has that… jehovah’s witness feel to it. – Love the college hippy-know-it-all douchebag at the end who puked out some sound bites lol.

People think that wearing a certain brand portrays a lifestyle and attitude. The multi-million corporations WIN!
